The impact of your donations is felt each and every day at South Shore Regional and Fishermen’s Memorial hospitals.

There are lots of reasons to celebrate Roger & Susan, but this opportunity was golden!

Recently we celebrated Roger & Susan’s generous purchase of a bedpan washer for the Medical Unit at South Shore Regional Hospital.

While it may seem like a basic piece of hospital equipment, this new bedpan washer will:
– Employ the latest in sanitization technologies, which reduce the risk of cross-contamination and hospital-acquired infections.
– Be more efficient, ensuring that clean bed pans are readily available when needed.

SSRH Ambulatory Care: RN Nancy Grandy and Ward Clerk Courtney Wheeler are proudly showing off their new Accuvein Vein Finder, purchased by the generous attendees of the 2021 Charm Diamonds Women’s Giving Circle!

“This device is already making a huge difference in the lives of our patients. Thank you so much for your continued generosity and helping us to improve the care we provide to our patients. You are truly amazing!”

SSRH Women’s & Children’s Unit:

“The staff and physicians on the Women and Children’s Department would like to thank the donors of the Health Services Foundation for the educational material and teaching aids recently purchased for the staff.

Investing in our staff helps us to provide better care at the bedside. Once again we thank you for your unwavering support of our unit and SSRH.”
